The aim of the article is to reveal the process of ideological development in Gabriel Sundukyan’s dramaturgy through the analysis of the plays “Husbands,” “Love and Freedom,” and “The Testament.” It seeks to show how the author’s creative thinking evolves over time, moving from social criticism toward deeper moral and psychological observations. The research examines how the playwright’s perceptions of women’s freedom, family, love, social duty, individual moral responsibility, and inner liberation are transformed. At the same time, the work analytically presents how the main ideological axes in these works develop, including the forms of representing the issue of women’s freedom, the understanding of social and personal relations, and the importance of moral values and responsibility. The study also emphasizes that these three plays reflect the gradual evolution of Sundukyan’s dramaturgical thinking-from the articulation of social problems to a deeper analysis of the human inner world, moral choice, and spiritual freedom, which characterizes the ideological maturity of his creative work. Special attention is also given to the concept of philanthropy as an expression of social responsibility and a path toward human moral perfection.
