MULTIMEDIA PROJECT IN BUSINESS ENGLISH COURSE

The article defines the multimedia project, the features of the use of informational, research, creative, game projects in the course of business English. It presents the functional and content characteristics of the multimedia project. The idea is substantiated that by applying the project method in the course of business English, students develop not only their foreign language communicative abilities, but also professional competence. The importance of the ability to use computer-telecommunications means when implementing various multimedia projects is emphasized, in the conditions of dynamic and continuous development of the mentioned means. The problem of forming a culture of independent work through multimedia technology is emphasized. It is noted that an important function of multimedia projects is overcoming student boredom. Another function of the multimedia project is revealed: it motivates, interests students, makes the learning process more interesting and effective. As a result of the use of the multimedia project, the teacher ceases to be the only source of information. The need for planned implementation of various projects is justified.
