Social and legal issues of professional orientation of youth in the Republic of Armenia

The article examines current issues of professional orientation for future specialists and highlights ways to improve its effectiveness in modern Armenia. Practical professional orientation is of particular importance worldwide, and in our country in particular. The emergence of new technologies and digital services, the latest professions, promising from the standpoint of developing branches of scientific and practical life - all these factors have a strong impact on the labor market and entail rapid changes in the requirements for specialists. Therefore, the choice of profession is complicated, and the demand for assistance in professional choice increases. The possibility and expediency of fundamental legislative changes aimed at a set of measures, current forms and content of work in the organization of high-quality professional education are substantiated. As a result of the conducted research, factors influencing the choice of a future profession were identified, and recommendations were proposed for improving the ongoing career guidance work with school graduates, formulated on the basis of an analysis of work experience.
